The Avid Carp VTX Receiver is a dedicated central unit designed to work seamlessly with the VTX series bite alarms. It allows remote bite monitoring, ensures stable signal transmission, and offers advanced security features for your carp fishing session.
VTX Compatibility & EPS Transmission Range up to 150 m
This central unit is engineered to operate with Avid Carp VTX bite alarms. The VTX EPS system delivers stable, high-quality signal transmission at distances up to 150 meters between the alarms and the receiver. You can pair up to 8 bite alarms with a single receiver, providing great flexibility when expanding your fishing setup.
Multi-light LED System with 4 Colors Matched to Alarm Heads
The receiver features four clear LED indicators that correspond to the color schemes of the bite alarm heads. Available colors include green, blue, red, and yellow. This color coordination makes it easy to quickly identify which rod triggered the signal.
SafeGuard Anti-Theft System & Bite Memory
The SafeGuard Anti-Theft feature activates an alert if an alarm head is turned off, providing extra security for your gear by the water. The bite memory function allows you to check which rod was triggered last, giving you better control over the situation at your swim.
Sealed Housing & Energy-Efficient Operation
The receiver’s sealed casing protects its digital components from moisture and changing weather conditions. Powered by three AAA batteries, it offers low power consumption. An LED indicator notifies you of low battery status when switching on the device. The built-in Piezo speaker delivers a clear and distinct audio signal.
Bite Alarm Pairing Procedure
To pair the receiver with your bite alarms, first turn off all alarm heads. Then switch on the receiver and hold the registration button on the back until the far left LED starts flashing. Release the button, then turn on each bite alarm one by one and trigger their signals to assign them to specific channels. Complete the process by pressing the registration button again or turning off the receiver. You can repeat this procedure anytime to reorder or add new devices.
