Delphin CARPY Bite Indicator
A bite indicator like no other, with a built-in LED light and ingenious features that set this model a step ahead in its category.
The head part is designed in a unique carp shape, a detail that will surely delight many carp anglers and distinguishes it from classic models. It is equipped with a line clip that allows for tension adjustment via a small dial. This mechanism consists of small balls that minimize friction surface when the fish pulls the line. The head is made of hardened, matte plastic for increased durability against mechanical damage.
The body of this bite indicator has been completely redesigned and equipped with two new features. This concept was entirely developed by Delphin's engineering team.
The first feature, called CABLE MANAGER, consists of small notches on the sides that are designed to keep the cable in place during transport. This prevents it from tangling with other parts of the setup.
The second feature is a groove called ARM STOPPER. In addition to holding the lower part of the bite indicator, it serves two important functions. It can secure the main body so that these two parts hold together firmly and can prevent the bite indicator from swinging side to side much faster.
This means that when you lift the rod and the line is released from the main part, the CARPY will quickly stop in a hanging position. Usually, this takes only three to four swings. Comparing this product with other bite indicators you have used, you can say it offers much greater durability, especially in the plastic parts and the joint connecting it to the main body.
For better line tension, it also has a sliding counterweight. The Delphin CARPY is equipped with an electronic bite indicator connector. When connected, the LED light will illuminate with a dimmed light (according to the color of the head), allowing you to see the bite indication at night. As a bonus and in case of loss, this product includes spare hangers that attach it to the electronic bite alarm.
