A fast-sinking coated braid, the Tandem Baits Gravity Silk Stripper is made from a weave of PTFE and Dyneema fibers, providing both weight and durability.
The Gravity Silk Stripper blends seamlessly into the substrate and simultaneously offers a wide spectrum of attractive bait presentations. This hooklink is designed for heavy-duty tasks, exhibiting excellent abrasion resistance, sinking like a stone to the bottom, and perfectly adhering to its irregularities. The Gravity Silk Stripper has been designed without compromise, allowing us to achieve superior performance characteristics unattainable for other hooklink materials.
A hybrid construction with an external polymeric coating applied in a unique and advanced technological process. Incredibly abrasion-resistant, the coating is completely anti-reflective. It encases a soft, extremely strong core made from sinking PTFE fibers, combined with HMPE Dyneema® fibers. Six tightly woven fibers and an external coating create a strong, incredibly abrasion-resistant, durable braid with a small diameter.
The stiff coating does not crack even on knots, preventing the rig from tangling, and allows for the creation of stiff hooklinks. Stripping the coating to expose the core offers wide possibilities for constructing modern carp rigs, such as anti-blow rigs, combi rigs, and multi rigs. The totally matte coating suppresses light reflections. The Gravity Silk Stripper is virtually undetectable to carp.
