Gardner Ultra Skin Coated Braid
The Gardner Ultra Skin is a coated hooklink braid that, thanks to a wide range of available breaking strains (diameters) and colors, allows for perfect blending into various conditions at the fishing spot or specific fishing techniques. The exceptionally soft coating prevents the rig from tangling while maintaining a natural behavior, which is crucial when a feeding fish comes into contact with it. The right "give" in the braid greatly reduces the chance of spooking a big, wary carp. Three available sizes will suit both the hook size and the specific fishing method, from the delicate 15lb with a mere 0.50mm thickness, through the versatile 25lb suitable for nearly all conditions, to the strong 35lb version for targeting large fish in vast waters or near snags.
Tip: Although Ultra Skin sinks well, it's advisable to use additional weight positioned roughly in the middle of the hooklink - this ensures that the hooklink will lay properly on the bottom and won't spook fish feeding nearby. Use Sinkers, a piece of tungsten putty, or standard lead shot for this purpose.
