The Korda Surface Float is a versatile surface float from the Interceptor Controller Floats series, designed for precise topwater fishing in any conditions – from very short distances just under the tip-top to long-range, extended presentations of baits floating on the water. Its design combines high buoyancy, underwater discretion, and an easy, quick size-swapping system depending on distance and fishing situation.
High Buoyancy and Stable Water Position
The Surface Float is engineered to sit flat on the surface, eliminating drag and minimizing the risk of spooking fish. Both the body and the buoyant stem provide excellent stability, ensuring the float maintains the proper position during rig presentation and fish fight. Its white, semi-transparent color reduces underwater visibility while enhancing visibility from above – making it easier to monitor your bait presentation.
Quick Size-Swap System
One of the biggest advantages of the Surface Float is the ability to instantly change weight without cutting the rig. The front of the float features a rubber insert fitted to the QC Ring Swivel, where the main rig is attached. Simply unclip the classic loop from the QC, slide off the current float, and attach another model with a different weight. This solution is perfect for situations when the feeding distance of fish changes quickly – for example, when baits drift with the wind.
