The Gyro Bug Mix is a creation by Kevin Nash, which evolved with his fascination for carp fishing using insect imitations at various water levels. His aim was to create a bait that, once reaching the bottom of the fishing site, would slowly and progressively work, releasing tasty morsels that rise to the surface of the water. This perfectly mimics the hatching of insects that swim to the surface after emerging. The Gyro Bug Mix combines three active ingredients that gradually release all attractors in the water column, proving effective at any temperature. This makes it a year-round asset. The blend of liquid crustaceans with dried insects and an attractor-rich base designed to stimulate carp has proved to be a deadly combination!
How to best prepare the Gyro Bug Mix bait:
1. Thoroughly mix the dry ingredients consisting of dried insects and base mix together.
2. Pour in 250ml of Gyro syrup.
3. Add 500ml of lake water (2 empty bottles of Gyro syrup)
Then mix everything very thoroughly and set aside for about 10 minutes. Mix again and upon forming balls, you have a magnificent weapon for both short and long-range applications.
