The Delphin SPODCAST 12T SH 12000 is a specialist reel designed for efficient and fast baiting using SPOD-type rockets. It is engineered to withstand intensive use and deliver maximum performance during long baiting sessions – both at medium and very long distances.
The high 5.7:1 gear ratio allows for rapid line retrieval, significantly speeding up your spod operation. With each handle turn, it retrieves 125 cm of line, saving you time and effort. Nine bearings (8+1) ensure smooth and reliable mechanism operation, even under prolonged and demanding use.
The reel features a worm shaft drive with free oscillation, guaranteeing even line lay on the spool – crucial for long casts. The shallow spool with a large diameter and properly shaped lip allows the line to unspool smoothly during casting. A spool guard prevents line from being pulled into the mechanism, and three sturdy metal clips enable precise marking of baiting distances.
Comfort and a secure grip during use are ensured by an ergonomic metal handle with a large, rubberized knob, allowing effective line retrieval even with wet hands.
