SHIMANO Aerlex XT-B Spod Carp Reel
The Aerlex series reels are a robust construction, equipped with an Instant Drag brake system and designed to withstand really tough conditions - both in carp fishing and surf casting. The entirely new, unprecedented design combined with a two-speed oscillation, Aero Wrap II line lay, and an AR-C spool results in incredible casting properties. The high gear ratio of 4.6:1 allows the new Aerlex reel to handle heavy setups with ease.
The SPOD version features a higher gear ratio than the classic version - 5.3:1 - which results in an impressive 115cm line retrieve per crank turn. Baiting with a spod rocket becomes faster as a result, leaving you with more time for fishing.
