The Key Cultured series hookbaits are the result of the longest and most intensive program concerning the development of a modern carp bait. The Key represents a revolution at Nash Baits – the results achieved in the UK and Europe speak for themselves. A new standard in carp bait has been set. Keeping such an effective bait a secret during testing was a tough challenge. When you're experiencing more bites in a trial session than in the entire previous season, or landing the biggest fish from particular waters… rumors start to spread. Thanks to The Key bait, many anglers involved in testing this novelty have achieved excellent results, beating their personal bests. Now the most advanced bait from the Nash Baits stable is also available to you.
The base of this bait is a 15 or 20 mm main, neutrally Balanced, core ball. Over the course of 6 days, this bait is coated 20 times with the unique Key Culture layer. This layer initially consists of two phases, a Liquid emulsion and a powder. Once set, they form a coating that makes the ball resemble the natural food of fish. This production method allows for a high content of amino acids, vitamins, minerals, and soluble proteins in the bait. All these substances are responsible for sending signals that stimulate fish to feed. This was proven in meticulous tests that resulted in the capture of rarely caught, large fish in many waters in England. The outer coating of the bait dissolves in water (the dissolution rate depends on the water temperature) until the neutral core of the ball is reached.
Mount The Key ball in the following way:
1. Gently scrape off the outer layer of the bait
2. Drill through the bait using a strong and sharp drill bit
3. Thread the ball on the Hair and secure it with a stopper
4. The previously removed outer layer can be reapplied to the ball
5. Use the bait singly or in combination with PVA
