Chickpea Seeds
Chickpea seeds, also known as Italian peas, are a lesser-known grain in Poland. Like all legume seeds, they are high in protein, but they also contain that magical "something" that makes carp simply adore them. Chickpeas serve as a selective bait and lure for carp, rarely taken by bream and other species.
Preparation methods:
1) Soak the chickpeas in water and leave them for 24 hours
2) Heat under a lid until boiling. Boil for 45-90 minutes.
2) Allow to cool down - ready to use.
WARNING!!!
Please remember that the seeds swell during cooking by about 35-50%. To enhance the flavor and aroma, you can add salt to the water during cooking.
