Mivardi Shelter Base Camp Xtreme XXL – XXL Base Camp Carp Tent
The Mivardi Shelter Base Camp Xtreme XXL is a spacious base camp carp tent designed for use in all weather conditions. It provides a huge usable space and the possibility to connect with other carp tents, making it the perfect session hub.
M-TEX415 Fabric and 15,000 mm Waterproof Rating
The tent’s construction is based on modern M-TEX415 fabric with a distinctive cracked-design pattern. This fabric combines high durability with reduced weight, which is crucial given the tent’s large dimensions.
A waterproof rating of 15,000 mm ensures effective protection against heavy rain, and all seams are sealed using FST (Flexible Seam Taping) technology. The flexible tapes adhere tightly to the fabric and maintain waterproofness in both low and high temperatures.
Stable Frame with Double Supports
The heart of the Xtreme XXL model is an exceptionally stable frame with double poles, further reinforced with spreaders featuring rigid clips. This solution significantly reduces frame flexing, enhancing safety during strong winds.
The frame components are telescopic and equipped with a locking system, allowing quick and secure tent setup. The entire tent can be pitched and packed down by one person without dismantling the main structural elements.
Thoughtful Space and Functional Details
The Base Camp Xtreme XXL offers much more than just large space. The front wall features an entrance with a large window that can be configured using a mosquito net panel, clear PVC, or full fabric.
It also includes a letterbox-style opening system, enabling partial or full unzipping of the panels. The zippers have ergonomic pulls made from photoluminescent material that glows in the dark after exposure to light.
Large Canopy and Rain Protection
The front of the tent features an extended canopy supported by a separate fiberglass frame. This design improves comfort during rainfall by providing additional entrance shelter.
A special connection between the canopy and the tent prevents water accumulation on the fabric surface, even during heavy rain.
Ventilation System and Expandability
The side and rear walls are equipped with large windows featuring mosquito nets and fabric panels that support micro-ventilation inside. The interior remains relatively dark, enhancing rest comfort, especially in summer.
An important feature is the ability to connect the tent with other bivvy or Brolly models using the optional Bivvy Connection Kit. This allows creating an extended tent complex, even with up to three additional bivvy tents. A thick clip-in groundsheet is also available for purchase separately.
