Sonik Turbospod Rod – Rocket Baiting Carp Rod
The Sonik Turbospod Rod is a premium carp rod designed specifically for rocket baiting (spod), engineered for extreme long-distance casting and precise bait presentation. It combines exceptional power, speed, and control, making it the perfect choice for the most demanding carp anglers.
The blank is crafted from high-modulus carbon fiber with a low resin content, ensuring lightness, stiffness, and excellent energy transfer during casts. The Matt Armoured-Carbon Helix construction enhances resistance to twisting and mechanical damage, while the BulletPoint™ system in the tip section provides rapid rod recovery after casting, guaranteeing outstanding accuracy and rocket flight stability.
The rod features Seaguide TCG Zirconia K-style guides with a large 50 mm starting guide and a 16 mm Seaguide XUT tip guide with Anti-Frap anti-tangle design, allowing smooth line release and maximum casting performance. The Seaguide XSS-18 Twin-Lock reel seat with a carbon insert ensures secure reel attachment and stability during powerful casts.
For user comfort, the rod includes marked distance indicators, an extended shrink rubber handle for better leverage during casting, and an ergonomic enlarged rear grip. The steel butt cap improves balance and protects the rod base from damage.
The Sonik Turbospod is available in two lengths – 12 ft (5.75 lb) and 13 ft (6.00 lb) – allowing you to choose the perfect version to suit your baiting style and casting distance.
