The Spomb Tapered Braided Leaders – Black are high-quality tapered leaders made from braided line, designed specifically for long-distance casting and precise, safe baiting using Spomb-type baiting rockets. Thanks to its carefully engineered design and excellent taper profile, it provides a smooth transition between the lead core and main braid, significantly enhancing casting performance.

The braid gradually tapers from 50 lb (0.38 mm) down to 20 lb (0.20 mm), allowing for an exceptionally small and smooth knot. This solution minimizes resistance when passing through guides, reduces friction, and thus increases casting distance. Smaller knots also decrease air resistance, resulting in better control of the bait rocket’s flight.

The leader is designed to reduce the risk of crack-offs during dynamic casts with heavy rigs, making it perfect for intensive baiting or fishing at long range.

Each section is 10 meters long and can be trimmed from the thicker end to suit the individual angler’s preferences. Each spool contains three ready-to-use leaders in black, providing discreet presentation in the water—ideal for carp rigs.
