Korda LongChuck Tapered Leaders
The Korda LongChuck Tapered Leaders are pure mono leaders designed for extreme distance casting setups. The 10-meter leader consists of an 8-meter segment of 0.47mm diameter monofilament, which then tapers down over the last 2 meters to either 0.27mm, 0.30mm, or 0.33mm, depending on the chosen model. It is crucial to match the connecting line's diameter as closely as possible to the leader's. This ensures a much smaller and sleeker knot, significantly aiding in casting. The Longchuck Tapered Leaders are made of the same material as the Longchuck mainline. As it lacks the heavy color dye, it is significantly lighter and less stretchy, which directly contributes to the casting distances achieved. The leader is exceptionally abrasion-resistant and absorbs very little water.
