The Korda Straight Point – Barbless is a modern carp hook without a barb, designed based on the iconic Wide Gape model but enhanced with a range of technical details that increase its effectiveness and versatility. Thanks to the extended shank and a 15-degree angled eye, the hook better positions itself in the fish’s mouth, resulting in faster and more secure hook sets – even with delicate bites.

The greatest advantage of the Straight Point model is its incredibly sharp, tapered straight point that penetrates the fish’s tissue with minimal resistance. Despite being barbless, this hook holds the fish very securely thanks to its perfect shape and proper positioning in the rig. Made from Japanese X-gauge forged wire, it guarantees maximum strength, and the forging process further enhances its resistance to deformation. The entire hook is coated with a PTFE layer, protecting against corrosion and maintaining the point’s sharpness for a long time.
