The Spomb X Reel is a specialist baiting reel, designed from the ground up in the UK for maximum precision, durability, and reliability when working with Spomb bait rockets and other baiting rocket models. Every component has been engineered to withstand intense loads and repetitive casting cycles.
The Spomb X Reel features a construction of high-strength aluminium and brass, with precisely machined gears ensuring exceptionally smooth and durable operation. The Carbon Matrix Drag brake system delivers a 25 kg drag force, providing full control during casts and eliminating spool slip under extreme loads caused by long-range casting. With a gear ratio of 5.2:1, this reel retrieves an impressive 124 cm of line per handle turn, making it highly efficient and allowing for quick retrieval of the Spomb rocket after each baiting session.
The model incorporates sealed core components (body, rotor, and drag), effectively protecting the interior from water and debris, significantly extending the mechanism’s lifespan. An integrated lubrication port offers easy maintenance without the need to disassemble the reel.
Additional features include dual aluminium line clips with safety locks, a rotor brake system, and a bail lock that prevents accidental bail closure during casting, protecting your rig from break-offs. The lightweight, reinforced carbon composite body ensures robustness while keeping the overall weight at only 603 g.
