GURU X-Safe Quick Change Elastics - Long / Heavy Elastic (Black)
Guru X-Safe Quick Change Elastic is an excellent choice for anglers who want to gain an edge in modern competitive fishing. It is the only safe system with a shock absorber on the market that allows for easy sliding of the entire elastic section through the sleeve, enabling the fish to free itself from the feeder or weight in case of the main line or leader breakage.
Developed by top competitive anglers Steve Ringer and Adam Rooney, the X-Safe Speed Stems system allows for quick changes of the feeder or weight size. Simply detach the feeder or weight from the main line and attach a new, ready-to-cast setup. Thanks to this system, the Guru team has won countless competitions, as Speed Stems allow for quick preparation of multiple feeders or weights, saving valuable minutes during competitions or recreational sessions where speed is crucial.
This model features a Heavy elastic, designed for catching large commercial carp. The long X-Safe sleeve is particularly effective when fishing at long distances with method/Hybrid feeders. The long X-Safe sleeve significantly improves both distance and accuracy, which is crucial on large, open waters. Additionally, the longer sleeve contains more elastic, which is essential for avoiding fish losses during the retrieval of large fish.
The Quick Change version also uses the Speed Bead quick connector, which allows for rapid leader changes and hides within the securing bead. The sleeves fit existing method, pellet, and Hybrid feeders as well as Guru inline weights, allowing for immediate setup changes with a shock absorber. Simply tie a small loop on the main line, secure it to the sleeve with a slim hook and small rubber band, and the setup is ready for use.
