The Avid Carp Outline Flecktone QC Swivel Bag Stems are a stem system designed for building Solid Bag rigs with PVA bags. Crafted for quick setup and efficient rig changes, they enable the creation of compact, well-shaped bags that fly straight and land steadily on the bottom.
QC system for fast rig changes
The integrated Quick Change swivel allows instant rig swapping without dismantling the entire setup. This solution is especially useful during intense sessions where rapid response and smooth presentation changes are crucial. The stem can be used in two ways – the main line can be tied directly to the top loop or threaded through the stem’s interior for a loop-to-loop connection, facilitating quick swaps of whole PVA bags.
Tapered loop for rig attachment – safe design
Each stem features a slim, tapered loop at the top, suitable for lines up to 0.50 mm in diameter. The set includes a matching slimline tail rubber that fits snugly alongside the top part of the stem. This design allows the lead to slide off freely in case the rig breaks off. It’s one of the first truly safe bag stem solutions, also compatible with anti-tangle tubing.
Compatible with inline leads and drop-off systems
The bag stem is designed to work seamlessly with Avid Carp’s current range of inline leads. When fishing drop-off style, it can be used with the Inline Solid Bag Safety Lead to allow the lead to be released in snaggy or difficult areas. This increases fish safety and improves rig control in challenging conditions.
