Gamakatsu G-Carp Specialist RX Hooks
A stronger sibling of the popular Specialist R model, the Gamakatsu G-Carp Specialist RX Hooks are designed for successful fishing near snags or anywhere where you might expect powerful runs that a hook of standard wire thickness would not withstand. It's one of the most basic yet highly effective shapes available on the market - featuring a medium-length shank, wide forged bend, and a strong, claw-like point. The hook is coated with a Teflon layer, which ensures it doesn't reflect light and is significantly smoother than a standard finish model.
Remember to take care of the puncture wound in the fish's mouth after each unhooking by spraying it with an appropriate disinfectant. Also, check the entire body of the fish and care for any other wounds that may be present.
