Fluorocarbon is highly rigid and virtually tangle-free. It sinks quickly and is practically invisible in the water, making it highly effective for fishing in clear water bodies. It is ideal for creating rigs such as the chod rig and stiff D-loop rigs. The high rigidity of the material minimizes the chance of rig entanglement during casting.
