The Korda Straight Point – Barbed is a barbed carp hook that offers a modern take on the legendary Wide Gape model. Korda's engineers have introduced a series of thoughtful design improvements, resulting in a hook that is incredibly versatile, durable, and—most importantly—extremely sharp. The longer shank and eye angled at 15 degrees ensure better hook alignment in the rig and more effective hooking.

The key feature of the Straight Point is its uniquely thin-tapered, straight point—razor-sharp straight out of the pack. Made from reinforced Japanese X-gauge steel wire, the hook guarantees high resistance to deformation, even when landing the biggest fish. Additionally, it’s forged and coated with a PTFE Teflon finish, enhancing durability and allowing long-term use without losing its qualities.

The Korda Straight Point – Barbed hook works perfectly with both pop-ups and wafters. Its versatility makes it compatible with most modern carp rigs, including D-Rig and Spinner Rig. Available in sizes 2–6, with or without a barb.
