“A major breakthrough in the creation of Key Cray came when we blended the paste from wild crayfish with The Key's highly nutritious base mix. The waters where this bait was tested literally exploded with activity. Despite this significant progress, occasional effectiveness issues still surfaced from time to time. The biggest challenge for bait creators is to make their products work flawlessly in as many different waters as possible. Therefore, the highly nutritious Key mix had to undergo a series of minor changes to perfectly synergize with the crayfish paste. As a result, a lethally effective duo was born. Nashbait is in such a unique, privileged position because we have been creating unique, custom-ordered baits for anglers that are meticulously documented and monitored for their effectiveness. Now, I can confidently retract what I've said before. Key Cray is an excellent bait for both warm and cold water. Why is the crayfish paste so deadly? Fishmeal and krill are excellent additives, but they are invariably of marine origin. Until now, there has never been access to a freshwater protein source, precisely the kind that carp feed on in their natural habitat and which they automatically recognize as safe and valuable. That has now changed with the introduction of the paste from wild crayfish.”
