The Korda Loop Rigs DF Wide Gape (Barbless) are ready-tied hooklink sections designed to work seamlessly with Booms Loop to create a fully refined combi rig with high hooking efficiency. This rig setup is based on solutions used in Danny Fairbrass’s hooklinks, combining blow-back style with optimal bait presentation and the ability to quickly swap out the hooklink section.
Blow-Back Construction on Wide Gape X Hook
Each Loop Rigs DF Wide Gape section is crafted in the classic blow-back construction, where the bait mounted on a ring moves freely during the suck-in, increasing the chances of the hook properly turning. The barbless Wide Gape X hook features a wide bend and an aggressive profile, enhancing hooking stability during the fight. This hook model performs perfectly with sinking and Balanced Boilies.
The hook’s angle is further reinforced with a piece of shrink tubing on the eye, ensuring quick rotation and reliable hooking even on very cautious takes.
Semi-Stiff Braid – Ideal Presentation for Combi Rig
